A group of 30, 8-16 year old's from Holyhead High School arrived by rib to the Fort green every day for a week. The children were studying different aspecst of the Menai Strait.

The Fort welcomed a group of visitors from the Breton town of Landerneau which for many years has been twinned with Caernarfon.
