Barbara Wingard gave a talk about her experiences of life in Ethiopia in the 1950's and especially of her involvement in the musical scene.

Vernon Jones, founder member and Vice Chair of the FOBA committee, (later acting Chair), was interviewed by Gwyn Llywelyn of BBC Wales. Gwyn wanted to know all about the Fort and in particular Lord Newborough’s interest in all things martial.

When the Eryri National Trust group visited the Fort, Chris Caves shared his research into the history of a ferry link between Abermenai and the tip of the Dinlle peninsula. This dated back to the 13th Century.
Also the Eryri piano trio gave a performance in the Music Room.
